This Week's Podcast: A Conversation Between Church and State: Lies
We could not talk politics without mentioning the collective distrust for politicians. While they have certainly earned their reputation for lying, we have to remember that people do legitimately change their minds.
There are plenty of videos of various clips of a politician saying one thing and then later saying another and we are quick to say that this is proof that they cannot be trusted. If I was recorded every time I said an opinion there would be a very long video about how I am a liar. How many of them are lies and how many did my understanding change? From this perspective, I realized I can't be so quick to judge especially if the opinion is separated by years.
How do you know who to trust? How do you decide what a person truly believes? Keep the conversation going by letting us know in the comments.
