#ec1dot18 - Jesus: "Who Do People Say That I am?"

On this Episode:

Talking with Christians should ultimately give you information about the Christ they serve. But too often we hear more about personal politics and church gossip than we do about the Jesus they claim to serve. Maybe we have been a little guilty of that hear on Another Empty Conversation

We want to change that. Today we answer the Jesus’ own question, “Who do people say that I am?” Won’t you join in on today’s episode of Another Empty Conversation?

Jesus is a polarizing figure and people have formed various opinions concerning him. Some of the descriptions are accurate and some are merely selfish mis-representations.

As for me, my goal in life to know Jesus for who is and not for who I want him to be. What a long journey to discovery that will be. Would you take the journey with me?

The sands of time are but elapsed and that means...

The time has arrived for Another Empty Conversation -  a show that lets you eavesdrop on a conversation about faith and following Jesus. We talk about our faith so you can talk about yours. Welcome to Empty Conversation episode 1dot18.  Thank you for tuning in and turning up.

We are humbled that you have joined us and are excited to get started.

Over the last couple of weeks we talked about worship and experiencing God’s presence in nature. Sarah and Kristal did a fabulous job in crafting our discussions and broadening our oft-narrow ideas about how to encounter God.

If you missed any of our past episodes you can find them on our website at www.empty.church/podcast and while you are their make sure to leave us some questions or comments. If you want to dig deeper into our discussion read through the blogs that accompany each episode of Another Empty Conversation.

This week we focus all of our attention to answer Jesus’ question “Who do people say that I am?”

So, what is the first thing that pops into your mind? Keep it there and lets see if we came up with similar answers.
