#ec1dot51 - A Conversation Between Church and State: Women's Rights
How do you instantly create controversy?
Take two young white guys and make them argue about women and politics.
Thankfully Sarah was here to keep us from being too foolish and hopefully we said something important
On this week’s episode of Another Empty Conversation
The time has arrived for Another Empty Conversation - a show that lets you eavesdrop on a conversation about faith and following Jesus. We talk about our faith so you can talk about yours.
Welcome to Empty Conversation episode 1dot51 where we are continuing in our series A Conversation between Church and State.
This week we turn our attention to women’s rights as established by our government and I ask Sarah if Hillary Clinton is the best voice to represent women in our country.
In what is certainly our riskiest moment Sean and I try to grapple with many of the issues of women’s rights and we admit that we are probably not the most qualified to speak on the subject. But we give it our best and try to get to the real heart of the issue.
We truly hope that you come away thinking more deeply about the important issues surrounding gender equality and a woman’s place in this country.
Make sure that you subscribe to our show on iTunes or SoundCloud. You can catch up on any missed episodes and be sure to be the first to hear each new episode when it comes out every Wednesday.
Now its time to leave you a preview so you too can review what we do as we jump into Another Empty Conversation
Thanks for listening everyone.
Coming up next week is some more hot takes on the political landscape as we try to figure out who we should vote for in the 2016 US presidential election.
